Everyone who starts their journey of self improvement will feel stuck and frustrated along the way. We focus on our goals and get frustrated when we don’t reach them. I went through this for years with my diet, convincing myself conventional advice didn't work for me. I wasted years convinced I was “special” or “big boned”. The reality is I had been lying to myself and wasn’t actually eating in a calorie deficit. As a result, I never lost the weight.

Everything in life is EXACTLY this simple. We live in an age where we can learn how to do almost anything, and somehow can’t seem to achieve our goals. It’s because we’re living in the dark and lying to ourselves. We actually believe we’re doing the work when, in reality, we aren’t even close.
When you feel stuck it’s time to shine the light on yourself and track what you’re doing every day. Facing reality head on is the only way to get the clarity required to move forward. It’s painful at first, realizing how much time and energy you wasted pretending to do the work. But if you can push through, everything you want is on the other side.
